DESCRIPTION:It’s time again for the Tour de Fred!!! \nSpend the morning on the Washington side of the Columbia River gorge.  Before turning North into the hills\, enjoying the twisty roads and stunning views to end about noon in Hood River for lunch.  (Don’t forget to bring cash for the Hood River bridge toll. Currently the toll is $3.50 per car) \nI want to do something different with this drive\, conitnuing to partnering with Boyd Motor Works and supporting their toy drive for Randall Childrens’s Hospital. I would like everyone to bring a toy. Yes\, go shopping\, let your inner kid out\, buy that toy that calls to you!  Then bring it to the drive\, they will be collected and donated to a child in need. I would ask you bring a toy\, or toys\, of $25 or greater in value. \nBRING A TOY!!  Put a smile on a child’s face. \nThis year the drive will be a group leader/speeper drive. \nWe will have the drivers meeting at 8:30am and the drive will start at 9:00am at Starbucks in Washougal. 291 C Street\, Washougal WA\, 98671. \nRated:  Very curvy and lots of hills for up and down driving. SUMMARY:2024 E46 Picnic
DESCRIPTION:The BMW 3 Series\, E46 chassis\, is an iconic car. It is beloved throughout the world and is universally adored much like the E30 chassis. The Pacific Northwest is especially passionate for E46’s in all the chassis variations. This E46 Picnic as we are calling it\, is modeled after the hugely successful E30 Picnic. That event started from humble beginnings as a picnic and the name has continued. So the E46 is getting a “Picnic\,” and just like the event it’s modeled after\, the E46 Picnic is just for E46’s to honor the cars and fanatics who care for them. We want to invite everyone with an E46\, no matter the condition\, to come to our “Picnic” at Golden Valley Brewery. This is all about the celebration of the E46!  If you don’t have an E46 please come as a free spectator. \nThe BMW E46  was the 4th generation of the 3 Series and they were produced from 1999-2005. The convertibles lasted one year longer to 2006. The BMW E46 chassis was very diverse\, offering 2-door\, 4-door\, Touring and Cabriolet models. The sporty M3 was available in coupe and convertible models. A compact model was even offered in Europe. We invite all E46 models and versions at the 2nd E46 Picnic! \nRegistration is free! So load up your car with your friends and family! Day of show entrance fee is also free! To order a T-Shirt\, proceed with registration and check-out. T-Shirt ordering closes at 8PM on June 15th! This is the last day to order a shirt. Day of show T-shirts will be very limited so order today. Parking is in the order you arrive. If you want to park with your friend\, arrive with your friend. Spectators will have parking separate from the E46’s. \nYes\, the E46 Picnic has an event T-Shirt! You can see what it looks like during check-out. You can choose sizes from Small to 3XL. These are 100% ring spun cotton medium weight 4.5oz shirts. Order your shirts here to ensure you have them on June 29th. \nEvent Schedule: \n11:00 AM – Gates Open. Please arrive between 11AM and Noon. \n2:00 PM – Furthest Traveled Award and Raffle (All registered participants will receive 5 free raffle tickets. Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase. Must be present to win.) \n3:00 PM – End of Show \nVenue: \nGolden Valley Brewery & Restaurant is dine in only. However\, you can order your beer with a plastic cup and take it with you to the parking lot. All beverages will need a plastic cup in the parking lot.
