DESCRIPTION:Calling all BMW enthusiasts! The 9th annual edition of the Pacific Northwest BMW MotorFest\, hosted by the Oregon Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America\, will once again be held along the scenic and verdant shores of a private lake in Yacolt\, Washington. \nPlan to spend the day with us on Saturday\, September 8\, 2018\, from 11 am to 3pm on the grassy show field surrounding the lake. \nMotorFest is our chapter’s annual fund raising event for charity\, and this year we will be giving to Meals on Wheels\, serving the Portland and Southwest Washington region. $5 of your entry will go directly to the Meals on Wheels organization to provide food and support for those who cannot get out on their own. \nThe day begins with another epic MotorFest road tour to the private MotorFest lakeside venue. Two starting points will be offered for this year’s tours. Both tours will be self-guided\, with accurate and detailed route sheets provided at the morning driver’s meeting. \nFor cars not on the tour but coming directly to the lake\, check-in at the lake will open at 11 AM. The address for MotorFest is 16321 NE 379th St. Yacolt\, WA. The address is for a private residential property adjacent to the lake\, so be sure to look for the MotorFest signs for the entry to the lake & park. \nMotorFest is open to any and all BMW years\, models\, and conditions. If you are able to bring your Classic BMW please join us! \nIf you’re interested in taking the plunge into old-car-ownership (should we say “stewardship”) come on out and hang with us\, you’ll meet lots of car people and get useful info/tips for your classic BMW project. We don’t exclude any BMWs\, so if you have a newer BMW you are also welcome to join us as well. \nRegistration not required.
