SUMMARY:Kart Racing Series: Race 6
DESCRIPTION:If you’re looking for something to do over the winter months\, come join us for our Kart Racing Series at Sykart in Tigard. Races will occur on the third Tuesday of each month from November through May. We’ll have 2 different race classes based on weight to keep things competitive. This is a points based racing series based on your top 5 (of 6 total) race nights. The winners will be crowned after the final race in May. Races will start by 7pm each night. Dates for the races are: \n\nNovember 21 (Practice)\nDecember 19\nJanuary 16\nFebruary 20\nMarch  20\nApril 17\nMay 22\n\nEach night you will get to participate in 3 races: Qualifying\, Heat\, and a Final. Plan on spending a total of 2 to 2 1/2 hours at Sykart on race nights. \nCost is $40 for each of the race nights payable to Sykart. \nThis is open only to Oregon Chapter members so make sure your membership is active and updated in MotorsportReg.com! \nRegister Now

SUMMARY:Spring Garage Tour
DESCRIPTION:Our first garage tour of the year will be at Brian Cone’s house. Brian and his wife found this special house last year just by chance. Who needs more garage space? Well\, all of us! That’s what Brian was thinking when driving by his old neighborhood in Beaverton and saw a for sale sign. The last owner completely finished the basement! Sheet rocked walls\, with a large shop\, storage area\, bathroom\, art studio\, big screen TV and surround sound system\, and it held 5 Sunbeams (Alpines and Tigers). With an extra wide garage on the main level\, it was up to a 7-car garage house! \nShortly before 11:30 we will depart for lunch at the Cruise In Country Diner. DESCRIPTION:  \n2018 Wine Country Tour \nWe’re set for another fun and tasty tour through the North Willamette Valley’s Wine Country! Pilot your Bimmer along sweeping roads through beautiful hills and farmlands to the picturesque vineyards we’ve chosen for this year’s tour. We’ll stop at two vineyards\, and finish our tour with lunch and more tastings in historic Carlton. \nThis year we will start at Kramer Vineyards near Gaston\, Oregon. Established in 1983\, the Kramer Family offers a broad selection of delicious red\, white\, rose\, and sparkling wines. Sparkling wines are rarely produced in Oregon. Theirs are so good\, we’ve made special arrangements for an exclusive tasting for our event! \nBuck Bailey Design will sponsor a quiche “brunchette” with fruit. Of course you may taste any of their non-sparkling wines\, and coffee will be available too. \nhttp://www.kramervineyards.com/ \n  \nDeparting Kramer\, we will wind through the lovely Chehalem Valley past verdant farms. We’ll give our cars a little cardio workout up the twisty Woodland Loop\, then continue with some fun sweepers back down into the Valley. \nOur second vineyard will be at Lemelson Vineyards near Carlton. Their Pinot Gris and Chardonnay white wines are highly awarded by Wine Advocate: “…one of the best you will find in Oregon…”. Their celebrated Pinot Noirs are also highly awarded\, and are produced from the fruits of seven estate vineyards three AVA’s: “a series of complex and elegant wines that speak clearly of their Oregon origins.” \nTastings include 5 wines\, meat / cheese / fruit\, and a take-home GoVino shatterproof wine glass.
