SUMMARY:Lane County Covered Bridges Tour
DESCRIPTION:Achtung! The Covered Bridges Drive has changed. Please note the start location is at Mosby Creek Trailhead near Cottage Grove. The change of the route is due to the closure of Auferheide Drive. The Terwilliger Fire last year destroyed the area and crews are clearing the burned up debris.\n  \nThe tour route may have changed but there is still an amazing drive this year. We will see 8 covered bridges!  Lane County has some of the best covered bridges in Oregon. Driving from bridge to bridge we will take in the beauty of the area and drive on some amazing ribbons of road. \n  \nFrom Cottage Grove we’ll drive around Dorena Lake\, and then head North and East to Dexter. We’ll take in the beauty of the Middle Fork Willamette River as it passes at our side. Next stop is the quaint town of Oakridge for lunch. After lunch we will see Westfir\, Lowell and the Fall Creek area for the 8thand final covered bridge.
