SUMMARY:Clackamas Ramble Drive
DESCRIPTION:Please register here!\nWelcome to the 2nd driving tour of the year. This drive moves the starting location to the east side. The Clackamas Ramble\, as we call it\, can have rain\, hail and sun on the same day! The route is reimagined this year with many of your favorite parts included\, along with new areas not explored before. \nNEW START: From Damascus Safeway\, we will head for the Highlands of Oregon City where we will get our first taste of rolling twisty roads. From there we will explore foothills of the Cascades which are richly timbered and we will see many farms along the way. There are agricultural farms\, animal farms and even Christmas tree farms to see. We will meet up with the Molalla River and follow it into the Recreation Area where we will take a 10 minute break at Three Bears Campground. Scenic pastoral views are the backdrop for the next curvy section. The fun continues in the hills of Fernwood. Then it’s just minutes to the Springwater corridor with the conclusion at Carver Park in Oregon City. Carver Hanger\, Shelly’s Echo Inn Grill\, and Stone Cliff Inn are restaurants close by. Making your own reservation is advised for the fancier Stone Cliff Inn (12:45pm+ advised). \nNote: Our one stop on the route at Three Bears Campground\, has a vault toilet. \nSaturday: Arrive no earlier than 9:00AM. We will have a mandatory Drivers’ Meeting at 9:30 AM to explain the route and safety rules. Driving groups will be formed and we will depart in stages. \nStart: Safeway Damascus 20151 SE Hwy 212\, Damascus\, OR 97089 \nFinish: Carver Park 14888 S Springwater Rd\, Oregon City\, OR 97045 (quick stop only – fee based park) \n  \nPLEASE NOTE: \n\nAll *drivers* MUST be pre-registered online and be a current BMW CCA member. No “Day Of” registration is allowed. And no “guest” drivers are allowed. \nYou do not need a separate registration for any passengers in your vehicle BUT all drivers AND passengers need to sign the online waiver prior to the event. (see #4)\nRegistration is limited to 45 cars.\nALL DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS MUST SIGN THE WAIVER PRIOR TO THE EVENT. WHICH IS SEPERATE FROM THE REGISTRATION FOR THE EVENT. THERE IS A LINK TO IT AFTER YOU FINISH REGISTERING FOR THE DRIVE.\nDrivers meeting is mandatory.
