SUMMARY:The Grand Tour of Portland
DESCRIPTION:*Please note: This drive is open to current BMW CCA members ONLY & will have a limit of 45 cars. \nThe first driving tour of the year is a great one. Starting in Hillsboro\, we will set off driving north to Forest Park\, one of the largest urban forest reserves in the county. Curvy roads will take us through the park and off the ridge into Helvetia. Our next stop is Cornelius where we will take a break in Harleman Park. From there we will explore the beautiful hills of Buckheaven and continue south to Newberg. The great Wilsonville Road leads us to the second stop in Memorial Park in Wilsonville. The tour continues as we make our way to Canby with some more fun roads to Beavercreek. Here we will turn north to get our final run along the Clackamas River to Carver Park. This epic drive covers all three Portland counties; and is why we call it the Grand Tour! \nThere are two optional no-host lunch locations (note: attendees pay for their own food and beverages). \nCarver Hanger (self-described as no frills American fare) https://www.carverhangar.com/ \nor \nStone Cliff Inn (upscale cuisine – make a 12:30 pm reservation now) https://www.stonecliffinn.com/ \nArrive no earlier than 8:00AM.
