SUMMARY:Portland Vintage Racing Festival - Featuring BMW
DESCRIPTION:The Portland Vintage Racing Festival is almost here!  From July 26 to July 28th the SVRA will bring their racing classes to PIR. Prototype\, formula cars\, sports racing\, & production/GT cars will be featured from the 50’s to the 80’s. SVRA teases saying “a celebration of BMW with a featured Marque Reunion along with a Trans-Am West Coast Championship Series race” are part of the festivities! Our BMW CCA Oregon Chapter will host a corral in the infield to display our cars on Sat & Sun. Bring out your BMW new or old\, we welcome you! \nJaguar is the title sponsor again this year and they will have test drives on the autocross course.  Land Rover is here as well with off road test drives. These are thrills not to be missed. Also sign up for the parade lap once you arrive. \nWe have 25 spots for you to drive your car on the parade lap around the race track. The whole weekend (fri\, sat\, & sun 8:30am to 4pm) for one car\, two people\, and parking pass in our corral is still just $45. Children 12 & under are free. We will have snacks and waters under our tents so bring your camping chair! \nThe SVRA is selling tickets on their website. Click on the Car Show Registration button. You will see Hagerty Cars & Caffeine as the sponsors of the corrals. Be sure to enter your car info and enter BMW CCA for the club. You will receive a Corral packet at the front gate on the day you arrive.
